PARTNERS

The Academy of Government forms part of a broad network of academics and practitioners based in Edinburgh and across Scotland. The Academy's faculty are drawn from across numerous academic schools at the University of Edinburgh and this positions us in a central role through which we can draw upon the expertise of leading academics. We are also supported by an affiliated with a wide range of research networks, centres, and institutes in the University of Edinburgh and beyond. We also have close working relations with several policy organisations at the Scottish, UK, and international levels.

Founding Partners

The Academy was founded by four Academic Schools of the University of Edinburgh: the School of Social & Political Science, the School of Economics, the Business School, and the School of Law. Our fifth founding partner is Edinburgh Global who are responsible for advancing the University's international strategy.

Academic Affiliates

The Academy's academic affiliates are numerous and include research centres and institutes at the University of Edinburgh that produce cutting-edge public policy research as well as external research networks that foster collaboration across Scotland.

Policy Community Affiliates

The Academy maintains closes ties and working relations with several policy organisations including the University of Edinburgh's Public Policy Network.
