PEOPLE
The Academy of Government's directorate and teaching team represent a diverse and growing community of scholars and practitioners widely recognised for their teaching and research expertise. They are engaged in world-class research on a variety of public policy issues and are active public policy consultants. Most of the teaching at the Academy is undertaken by academic staff from across the University of Edinburgh and distinguished practitioners from the Scottish Parliament, Scottish Government and various external organisations. Our classes and seminars are a combination of academic lectures and practitioner-led sessions. This makes for a learning experience that is at the interface of theory and practice.
