Admissions
We are now taking applications for the Master in Public Policy.
To enter this programme in September 2012, applications must be submitted by 15 August 2012 at the very latest. However, students from outside the EU should apply by 1 July 2012 to allow sufficient time for processing of Visa applications.
Applications are processed on a rolling basis prior to the July-August deadline. We strongly encourage students to apply as early as possible, owing to the competitive nature of the programme. Generally the selection process lasts from two to four weeks from the reception of the (fully completed) application. You will therefore receive a decision within 2-4 weeks of completing your application.
Please note that deadlines for scholarship applications precede this date. For further information on funding, please see our Funding and Scholarships pages.
Applicants must have a minimum of an Upper Second Class (2:1) Honours degree, USA GPA of 3.25 or higher, or equivalent in the social sciences, economics, law, business or the humanities. Applicants with a degree in the physical sciences may also be accepted subject to appraisal by the programme director and the completion of a recommended pre-session reading.
Applicants for whom English is not their first language: a Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of 600 (250+ computer based) or an International English Language Testing (IELTS) score of 7 is preferred. Alternatively, a recent degree from a university in an English-speaking country is acceptable.
Further guidance on the application procedure, as well as information on admissions requirements is available on the Graduate School website.
Further guidance for international students can be found here.
